The middle and last are ok and could be dressed up with some spangley jewellery. Don't like the first one.

I'm going with 'no, not really', although the last one might be ok if dressed up with the right accessories

what about this? Bit more casual.

moonface73 · 12/12/2011 22:22

I do like the look of the red one - what accessories do you reckon? have lovely black heels that tie up with ribbons and thought dress plain enought for them? It's a red dress I think am after...!

I would go for a really big bulky black (or black floral) necklace, something bulky to give the dress some texture and contrasting colour. Can I suggest the charity shops - I've bought some amazing jewellery from charity shops. Also, you could try making your own. I had my makeup done at the weekend and the make up lady had on a black dress and the most amazing black feather stole
black / peacock feather stole cape shrug 40s / wedding - just to give you an idea - again, charity shops - some fantastic bits - you could even make your own if you're that way inclined. I can also recommend Primani! You can get some really nice bits and at not too much cost. Xmas Smile

Oh, my link didn't work - very annoying.

sorry, you have to click on link and scroll to bottom. It's the oriental print on the bottom left. Gorgeous.

On my mobile so can't do links but if you go to Dorothy Perkins and search for red ruched dress. I bought one in bird & animal print and is really lovely fit. Think they're doing 30% off at mo but if not I googled and found discount code for 20% & £1 postage.

Or links on my last s&b thread!

Love the red dress, if you're skinny or very in proportion. It's a gorgeous cut.
