Cinders needs Cocktail Dress by Friday

Hoping you style and beauty gals can help me. I ordered a KM dress which has not arrived yet so I may need to get something else as a standby. My party is on FRIDAY THIS WEEK!!!!!!!!!!

I have tried to contact KM to find out where the hell is my dress but have not heard back.

The party is in a marquee with 350 guests, dinner and dancing. I will be sitting on a directors table and I know that his wife has spent around £250 on her dress. I am aiming to spend more like £150 and hoping to look classy, sophisticated and a little bit sexy (DH is in black tie).

I am a petite (read 5ft 3) size 10 (on a good day) with highish waist. pencil style skirts/ fitted dresses suit me best. I don't mind wearing colours (red is good). Black not so good as I am v pale. I have had 2 kids so tummy is a wobbly area but I can suck in.

One Karen Millen dress I liked was a bandeau style in pink that was lovely but has sold out. I do not live near any good shops so will either have to buy online with express deliv guaranteed or try my luck in nearest smallish town tomorrow which has a debenhams, zara, oasis, lkbennet, oasis etc.

Or I can stay at home cleaning the fireplace.

Purple coast dress is lovely. There is a Coast 45 mins away. I could go hang out there tomorrow (off work luckily) and ask them to throw a load of dresses on me.

I am slightly worried about a 'same dress' incident. I could always just keep to other side of room if this comes about.

I wore a coast dress to my prom (ack a good good few years back) and it felt lovely so I'd definitely go to them, I've not had an event where I can justify buying something that nice for a while but I'd def go to coast if I did personally, and I'm same height/size as you
