Playsuit and black opaques?

Have my work Christmas 'do' on Friday and havent sorted an outfit yet. I have seen this but not brave or maybe stupid enough to wear it without leg coverings of some sort. I was thinking of teaming it with black heels black opaques and a black cardigan

Scorps, would you wear black ones then? Where could I get them from - really do like your suggestion

You can get soft touch ones from Peacocks about £3, i like those. Don't get cable knitted ones - you need smooth ones, iyswim.

I wear playsuits and over the socks alot.

New Look do lots of socks too, but here anyway they're all thick knitted and that wouldn't go.

And yes, black socks

Thick black opaques,a chunky necklace or big earrings and a blazer over the top.

I think it would look lovely with a black cardigan and black maybe patterned tights.

Yes to playsuit as it's very sweet and you sound like you have the build and the youth to carry it off . I'd steer away from the over knee socks though for fear of looking like Britney Spears crossed with Peter Pan

Oh well, I'm still going to wear them anyway

Mama I do feel really ancient at the moment, two little ones and very sleep deprived, so have decided I need to inject the youth back into me!

I might buy and try some socks to convince me otherwise and see what they look like but consensus looks like black tights (my work staple, even in summer )

i wear a playsuit with black tights, think it would be nice with otk socks but i dont think i could carry it off. I was considering wearing socks over tights but chickened out.

Lovely playsuit. I would def go for tights instead of socks. I think you really need to be a teenager to carry that off (sorry!).

oh wow - i thinks it s great I d definately go for it fab and sexy combo - as long as the play suit fits well ie not too tight ! i found i needed to go up a size sometimes when stuff like that !
