How does Leona Lewis get her hair to stay straight?

I am guessing it's a high maintenance look given her natural corkscrew curls but any clues? Mine is similar naturally and I'd love it not to be!

My dd had millions of curls but I can straighten it with ghds. She probably has it straigtened chemically.

My best friend has that type of corkscrew hair and has it chemically straightened. It lasts months and she's been having it done for so many years there's only a small wave left. Fwiw I far preferred it before.

Erm, not very helpful but I'm sure the team of hairdressers and stylists she has probably make it a bit easier than for us mere mortals.

I had mine chemically straightened. It's like having a perm, it's the same solution I think, only they style your hair straight instead of on rollers! It's easy and any hairdresser could do it for you.

I think it's a weave, isn't it? It doesn't go from straight to curly and back overnight.

It's not a weave. She either has it relaxed, or uses straightmers on it. My dd is mixed race and I can get her hair to go from curly to poker straight overnight depending on her mood!
