Knitted dress for toddler?

Would prefer plain colour- pattern ok as long as not too hideous; must be long sleeved and fit a tall three yr old. The cosier (and cheaper) the better.

Thanks Smile

JoJos are doing knitted dresses this year and their lengths are very good, also White Company although they're pricier.

thebigkahuna · 10/12/2011 14:52

Marks and Spencer have some nice ones and 25% off at the mo.

Was actually looking for a nicer one we bought in store but can't see it on their site.

chipo · 10/12/2011 15:43

Tesco have some nice ones too.

teacoupons · 10/12/2011 15:59

Asda have amazing ones. A range of about 10 all under £13

tethersjinglebellend · 10/12/2011 16:23

Thanks all- not too keen on the M&S ones, nor the Tesco ones. Can't find any on the ASDA website. Not keen on White co. ones either.

Sort of like one on the Jojo website, but it is pricy- anyone know if they are good quality?

I got DD2 this today ... Though not on Amazon!!! Shock. It is sooo warm and snuggly - much nicer IRL than in the photo.

tethersjinglebellend · 10/12/2011 16:38

Can't get your link to work, Millie...

Jo jo are good quality, and they have £5 off if you buy two items the same style but doesn't have to be the same size

EsmeWeatherwax · 10/12/2011 18:54

Jojo are great quality, but not so great for tall children, I'd order a size bigger than normal, their stuff never fits my big tall girls.

pootlebug · 10/12/2011 19:15

My daughter has one of the green Jojo ones. She is tallish, but I couldn't size up as she's also skinny and the size up just hung off her. I don't think it has worn brilliantly for the price

Millie1 · 10/12/2011 19:20

Shall try again here

Millie1 · 10/12/2011 19:21

If that doesn't work, try Googling Boboli knitted patchwork dressSmile

SleepyFergus · 10/12/2011 19:26

John Lewis? My DH bought my DD a lovely knitted dress there the other week. It's not plain but stripy in a fairly muted way. They may well have plain coloured dresses too.

simonthedog · 10/12/2011 19:43

fatface not that long so i'd size up. I got 15% off when i bought it for DD. Looks lovely with leggings and boots

accessorizequeen · 10/12/2011 19:55

John Rocha cream
M&Co grey
John Lewis grey
All v.plain & long sleeved.

Greedypiggy · 10/12/2011 19:56

I have recently bought a pink dress with a cat pattern at the front from ASDA for my 3 year old DD, and she's tall for her age. It is only £8 and lovely!

Millie1 · 10/12/2011 21:00

Oh, also Ted Baker have a lovely grey wool dress with pink/red details here ... gorgeous on my 3 yr old!

monkeysmama · 10/12/2011 21:13

Polarn o. Pyret have the nicest red fair isle one. The White Co had a pink and grey 100% merino wool stripe one in their sale last week. I bought for tall 3.5dd and is super warm.

Jellymane · 10/12/2011 21:14

I got this for my daughter. I think it comes up a bit short though - can't check though as I've just realised I haven't seen it for a while (where has it gone?). It also comes in different colours and is in the sale.

theseventhdwarf · 11/12/2011 08:57

Thanks all.

I finally found a couple in M&Co- thanks to accesorize queen (the dress you linked to does not come in 3-4). A stripy one for six quid and one with a dog on.

The quest for a plain one continues. Maybe I should take up knitting?
