Girls partywear

I haven't got long to get some new party wear for my dds - aged 10 and 8. Can someone point me in the right direction please? Dd1 has expressed a preference for skirts/tops rather than dresses. Are Next good for this sort of thing?

Next frequently get a slating on here but they usually have a fairly good range of girls' partywear at this time of year, particularly separate pieces. I've got DD's party dress from there. The drawback, however, is that they tend to get a colour scheme in mind and go with virtually everything the same colour, so if you don't care for it, it rules out virtually everything.

I like Debenhams stuff for girls too. M&S had some nice things to start with this year, but if our M&S is anything to go by, a lot of it has sold out. My DD doesn't like any of this year's Boden partywear, she thinks it's too babyish. Monsoon's stuff looked nice online but I wasn't blown away by it when I saw it in store.

Sorry, not very helpful really. I do sympathise, and I only have 1 DD, the rest are sons!!
