Have opted for black wide legged joggers and black vest.

It should be harem pants shouldn't it? oh the shame.

got to lie flat, fed up.

wibble.

No shame. The harem pant is so last seaon.

Call your outfit 'sport luxe'. The glossy magazines try it every year, it's bound to catch on eventually.

Get well soon.

thank goodness they are out, i never got round to getting any.

how should i accessorise? i have a pack of paracetamol and a water bootle but i'm thinking i need to be more co-ordinating.

Hmm, tricky one.

Have you got a runny nose? I always like to base my sick-bed ensemble around whether I have tissues in a pretty box or have been reduced to a roll of loo paper.

What you should have is a slanket. Unless you are very sweaty. Sweating in a slanket would not be nice.

Hopefully some more expert Style and Beauty-istas will be along soon.

I feel for you, that headache is a killer. Have you been sick?

nevergoogle · 09/12/2011 21:36

cannot escape the headache.
admittedly the lime green duvet is not helping.

sunnies might help actually, even if just to make me feel like i'm on holiday.

StealthPolarBear · 09/12/2011 22:26

nevergoogle · 09/12/2011 22:30

OP posts:
StealthPolarBear · 09/12/2011 22:32

nevergoogle · 09/12/2011 22:36

:( sounds it. Sorry to hear that. It could be worse - DH has a MAN-COLD. Be glad you'll never suffer one of those Hmm

StealthPolarBear · 09/12/2011 22:38

and as part of the man cold he is wearing a very unstylish knitted woolly hat

StealthPolarBear · 09/12/2011 22:39

which he rolls up, making him look like a teenage mutant ninja turtle
or thirty-something mutant ninja tortoise, as I like to call him

nevergoogle · 09/12/2011 22:44

i love the hat idea, that was no-one can forget that he's ill.

i need a hat as the kids don't seem to have noticed.

OP posts:
StealthPolarBear · 09/12/2011 23:12

you need a pathetic hat
It must never leave your head until you are fully better. Get a wool one - you can just shampoo your hair through it, and the hat gets a wash too

ebbandflow · 10/12/2011 12:25

You need to be hugging a hot water bottle with a cuddly animal cover on it.

bigfatgypsy · 10/12/2011 13:56

How about some blue eyeshadow, blended touche-eclait-like UNDER your eyes to give you that 'I feel dreadful and really should be asleep in bed' look.

signet2012 · 10/12/2011 14:06

you also need to sport a big mug of strong coffee - proven to get rid of spinal tap headaches!!!!

and a definately a pathetic hat and a scruffy blaanket.

nevergoogle · 10/12/2011 16:43

i read that about coffee, but i hate coffee.

headache better today, backache worse and now have antibiotics for chest infection.
