FluffyMummy123 · 12/12/2011 16:40

i got the French connection diamond dazzle (wtf) dress from John Lewis - as htey do it in a soft navy with pewter sleeves
and i LOVE it
admittedly overpriced
but effortlessly smart casual and with SLEEVES
and yes Jl couldnt make it look worse on site if they tried

FluffyMummy123 · 12/12/2011 16:41

here it is on FC website www.frenchconnection.com/product/71PF6/Diamond+Dust+Batwing+Dress.htm

champagnesupernova · 12/12/2011 16:47

Glad you are GTG but Xmas Shock at festive peer pressure

FluffyMummy123 · 12/12/2011 17:05

she and her mate both chose the navy which suprised me

Cybbo · 12/12/2011 19:35

deaconblue · 12/12/2011 20:28

FluffyMummy123 · 12/12/2011 20:47

FluffyMummy123 · 12/12/2011 20:48

btw tethers i got the lurex one - kind of liked but M a bit short and L a bit gapey

deaconblue · 12/12/2011 21:09

Good felt bad. Is new dress suitable for table dancing and plate smashing?

FluffyMummy123 · 12/12/2011 21:16

Hope so. Slim bottom Half suits and jewlled shoulders pretty in rl

tethersjinglebellend · 12/12/2011 22:07

Shame about the lurex dress... I'm loving lurex at the moment, but everything is not quite right. Apart from a DVF dress which is ££££.

champagnesupernova · 12/12/2011 22:16

yy looks good on FC site
And may I say suitably UNDERSTATED
I have noted far too much overdressing of late.
Was at 2 parties on Sat night and there were human glitter balls at both.
And i went to London for my work do and was asked when I was changing when I was changed already Xmas ShockXmas Sad

theseventhdwarf · 12/12/2011 22:29

agree i d wear the same dress - especiaclly if I loved it and felt good in it!
accessorise with different shoes/jewellery/hair do/ bag and no one will notice, enjoy the evening by the way

FluffyMummy123 · 13/12/2011 07:28

which beatch asked you if you were changing? ;)

thanks everyne. I do love a nice S and B thread

deaconblue · 13/12/2011 12:18

Agree re overdressing. I went to dh's running club xmas do wearing a sparkly top and jeans only to find a woman in a gold lame marilyn monroe style dress getting out of her car going to the same do. the place was full of backless and strapless numbers. It was at a tatty rugby club ffs.
