My Next order wasn't in shop today when it was meant to be.

I did an online order on Tues and it said it would be in the shop today. I was avoiding home delivery as there hasn't been a free code for a while though typically I see on MN last night there's a new one now.

So went into town today and stuff isn't there. Manager asked me if I'd had a confirmation email telling me it was ready. Are you meant to wait for a confirmation email as I didn't see anything about that when I placed the order. There's certainly nothing on the confirmation email that says don't go to the shop till we tell you its definetly there.

Sorry I meant there's nothing on the order confirmation email saying to wait for a successful delivery confirmation email.

Just found this on the website. It just says 'when you select a store, you will also be given the date from which your order will be available to collect', not that you will be sent an email to let you know when it is there.

Hi I always get an email confirming that it's ready to collect. I get a text too.

Well if you are supposed to wait for a second email they need to make that a bit clearer when you place the order. Still they are sending it to my house now FOC. Grin

Am fed up with next. Loads of nice stuff on the website, 90% sold out. Then tried to get next day delivery as it was pre 9pm and not given next day delivery at checkout. they still have the banner saying pre 9pm order = next day delivery. so they lost out on my £200 order!

I had exactly the same problem a few weeks ago. I rushed up there in my lunch break to pick up the order, had to wait for ages as the few staff that were there seemed to be milling around chatting to each other leaving the tills unstaffed with a queue forming, only to be told it wasn't there and I should have waited for a confirmation email/text. It didn't turn up til several days later. I was really annoyed. Won't be using that service again.

I had this a few weeks ago. I later phoned up and complained and was given a £20 credit note so it turned out rather well.

I've had problems with them recently too, an order took nearly a week to come after I had an email to say it would be delivered the next day. When I rang customer services I had to tell them that the delivery tracker said it had been sent to 'incorrect courier' and had no date so the lady on the phone could order it again for me. I'm supposed to have been sent something to sign so I don't have to pay twice for the same order but not had that yet either!

Argh I'm so fecked off with Next delivery at the moment.

Just this week my Friday (2nd) delivery that I waited in for was delivered on the Sunday and my Monday (when I again waited in) delivery I was supposed to receive last week still hasn't arrived. I had a card from the courier on Thursday so I called and arranged for delivery on Saturday and it hasn't arrived but I had an email today saying my statement is ready online and they've charged me for items already when I haven't received them!

I wouldn't mind so much if I lived in a rural area but I live in the middle of Bristol one of the biggest cities in the country so there shouldn't be any problems with couriers.

The tracking info on the mail link makes no sense and has disappeared from the one on the Next website.

I'm waiting until tomorrow to phone and complain again because I've learnt that the weekend staff don't really help just say to wait another day. Oh and emails have gone unanswered despite saying they would respond within 24 hours.

Just had a phonecall from Next telling me the order will be ready to collect in store next Friday! I pointed out that I got it two days ago as they posted it to me!

What's the betting I get charged for two?

called them this morning and they
triedto reorder the items but it wouldn't letthem do it for.next day delivery!

earliest delivery day is friday....

anyone have a postal complaint address?

My only problem with Next is that every time I order stuff, I always have to take back at least one item that is damaged - and its always one of the things that fits & I want to keep!
