Knitwear: warm + funky + bright+ sustainable + easycare - too much to ask?

Have never posted on s & b before but have gained a lot of useful knowledge.

Thanks to all the winter coat threads (thank you Drowning and others) I am now fabulously warm outdoors, so I've turning my attention to staying warm indoors, with no result at all so far

My wardrobe is full of cheap cashmere I bought from tesco or TK Maxx but now doesn't fit because despite what they say, it is NOT machine washable.

knitwear is so difficult: it's either expensive or it's dry-clean/hand-wash only or it's dull or it's too cheap to be true and you know it will look crap in no time.

I'd love to have the double-warm feeling that comes with buying a few pieces you know are beautiful and will last and won't make you feel bad for exploiting the earth/farmers/goats etc.

I'm going to have to learn to knit right?

lovely

Just lost a long post I was writing to you! I bought this last week. Took three days to arrive. It is one of the best things I have ever bought. S comfortable warm and have so many compliments. It is lined, super cosy, with fleece at the cuffs and collar.

That website looks interesting. Is it machine washable Cristiane?
