What colour nail varnish?

Having a shellac manicure and can't decide what colour to go for. I'm going to wear a dress with red in it, and usually wear red lipstick to go out in the evening.
Would red look too much for every day? I do love the chocolate brown colour on the website too.
Which would you go for?

I'd go for the Baroness Red. A shimmery red is lovely and Christmassy and a bit more interesting and glam than a satin red.

Ime dark brown and shows signs of wear quickly. Red less so.
