Thanks! Just bought it for my return to work after maternity - yay and boo.

madammecholet · 08/12/2011 17:36

Its 99 ??? Am I missing something?

winterfox · 08/12/2011 17:38

black is £49

madammecholet · 08/12/2011 17:42

ahhhh... all is made clear, I clicked on the black square but the price didn't change...thanks winterfox

Cybbo · 08/12/2011 17:48

That woudl show EVERY lump on me

gregssausageroll · 08/12/2011 18:31

Am I the only one who hates dresses like that? IO is supposed to be maternity plus thereafter - unless you are Victoria Beckham, I don't know anyone who would look good in a frock like that after having a baby.

winterfox · 08/12/2011 18:35

well i am a size 16 and have three of their 365 dresses! the jersey is really thick and smooths over bumps - prefer clingy dresses to others, just a preference

now wondering if i look like a pratt Wink

madammecholet · 08/12/2011 18:40

No I have their wrap dress winterfox and its divine... I agree with Cybbo tho on this one - worried i'd look like pillow...

gregssausageroll · 08/12/2011 18:46

sorry winterfox, I didn't mean to offend if I did but I'd look like a burst couch in a dress like that.

mirpuppet · 08/12/2011 20:22

I keep reading about Isabella Oliver -- are the dresses that versatile? For example I do not wear heels so what footwear could one wear with this dress?

Also is it casual enough for someone who does not work in an office?

madammecholet · 08/12/2011 20:55

GrinGrin at burst couch

moragbellingham · 08/12/2011 21:15

I think it's definitely a heels dress mirpuppet and I certainly wouldn't wear it in an office. It's a going out dress for me.

Actually am now a bit confused by the last bit - I don't work in an officeConfused

OK if heels are necessary its a no go for me. Thanks for the reply.

BuntyCollocksHasBigBaubles · 09/12/2011 10:52

I actually find that io dresses skim over my lumps and bumps. They're exceptionally flattering thanks to the thick jersey. DH bought me one for my bday when I was over a stone heavier after having baby, and I was still complimented.

I looked like a hooker in that dress, somehow, and very disconcertingly.

Am 6ft (so dress was REALLY short on me) and go in and out a lot, and it just looked....obscene Shock. A bit like something Julia Roberts would have worn in Pretty Woman BEFORE the transformation.

What sort of people do these dresses look good on...maybe a boyish figure, or a "moderately" curvy one?
