Help me choose a present for myself!

My family is doing a Secret Santa thing this year, with a budget of EUR 50 per recipient. Everyone's asked for each other's wish lists for inspiration... I have a wish list, but there's nothing very exciting on it.

Money's been tight lately so it would be lovely to get something I wouldn't buy for myself - but what? What do I want?! That costs not more than EUR 50?!

What would you choose?

As I've got older I've come to appreciate things I would have thought were a total present cop out a few years ago. I would like nice perfume - was very pleased with some jo Malone I got for my birthday and the packaging really makes it nice and gifty. Similarly quite like getting nice skincare.

I've also liked a couple of nice scarves a lot where I would have once thought they were a total grandma present!

I was in schuh at the weekend buying DS2 some Toms as part of his present and I was really shocked at the number of people buying shoes for Xmas presents. However I got some lovely leopard print pumps in Zara earlier in the season which were £39.99 so approx €50 I think. They have totally been one of my favourite things of the season. It's been nice to be able to put them and instantly transform generic black outfit and I've had lots of compliments on them.

Final thought is Boden sale must be imminent and when it starts you could probably get a leather handbag on budget. My experience is stuff is of reasonable quality. They have a lovely patent satchel if that would be your kind of thing?

Yes, I agree - I love things like scarves and socks, though everyone else thinks they're boring. Would love Jo Malone or a new bag/satchel if doable for EUR 50. Will go and have a snoop around... thank you!

Lovely smelly candles are always too pricey to justify buying for yourself but are lovely to receive as a gift...
