Yes, either clarins or L'occiatane

Millie1 · 08/12/2011 13:56

Jurlique is also lovely. Lancome, Aveda is actually nice but doesn't come in a box. Origins not bad .... I've tried them all!!

Pandsbear · 08/12/2011 13:58

Dr Haushkna, Clarins (the ordinary one not the age-control which is too runny IMO) and Aveda top my list!

Pancakeflipper · 08/12/2011 14:01

Clarins. Apply at night and my hands are much better the next day and it does make my nails grow quicker.

JellicleCat · 08/12/2011 14:19

L'Occitane definitely, it's the best hand cream I've ever used.

camilla2010 · 08/12/2011 14:23

clarins

becstarsky · 08/12/2011 14:27

Another vote for L'Occitane. I'm allergic to the Clarins one although lots of people I know rave about it.

(But... whispers... when you are buying for yourself then Superdrug Essential Hand & Nail Cream is as good as L'Occitane and is 99p)

SquishyCinnamonSwirls · 08/12/2011 14:30

Clarins is my favourite.
I agree the original one as I didn't like the scent of the others.

wideawakenurse · 08/12/2011 14:31

Chanel. I use it in House of Fraser when I am waiting for the lift up to the cafe. Grin

Its devine.

Tisserand Essential Oil Rich.

I buy loads of L'Occitane stuff, for me and others, but handcream has to be Tisserand. Smells divine.

MissFoodie · 08/12/2011 15:14

depends on your budget, but Davina Peace is amazing and no nasties in it (eg silicones, baby oil, etc)

Dirtydiana · 08/12/2011 15:36

Thank you all for the recommendations, only use cheapish stuff myself!

If you want an industrial strength cheap version - get the Hemp one from the BodyShop. It's has a unique smell.. But it works. Popular with farmers.

MissFoodie · 08/12/2011 16:23

a confused, did you want something cheap or premium in the end?

Dirtydiana · 08/12/2011 16:35

Miss Foodie, I want something premium. I was looking for ideas for my mum. I googled Davina Peace but couldn't find a stockist.

I think you can only buy online or from harrods - its gorgeous handcream.
all their items come gift wrapped with rose petals!

Dirtydiana · 08/12/2011 16:48

I will have a search for an online stockist, thanks.

FunnysInTheGarden · 08/12/2011 16:55

another vote for Clarins. I use the hand and nail treatment cream

Mrsdp123 · 08/12/2011 17:07

Clarins hand and nail treatment or Aveda Hand Relief..

polyhymnia · 08/12/2011 18:01

Definitely Clarins (not the age spot one) Really works and nice to use.

40notTrendy · 08/12/2011 18:03

I was a sworn in blood Clarins hand cream gal until I tried Nick Lowe handcream, my hands and nails have never looked or felt better Balance Me is also very good.

ilovemydogandMrObama · 08/12/2011 18:04
