What tights with tan boots?

I have a lovely pair of light tan knee length boots, kind of biker style. I bought them last year, and wore them almost exclusively with jeans/trousers. I'd like to branch out and wear them with a skirt, but I don't know what colour tights to wear with them. Black looks wrong, and I don't really do 'nude'. Any advice, please? TIA!

Purple. I have that colour combo on now.

Or green. There are lots of shades in either colour. Be as sublte or garish as you wish.
