helsi · 08/01/2006 19:09

We got one for DD from ASDA it was about 75p for two tops. one in pink one in cream

Jo Jo Maman Bebe have plain cream ones provided you don't mind a two-button placket and a not fussy Peter Pan collar (we have it in red, white, cream and pale blue! we don't like stuff on tops either)

this?

Aloha · 08/01/2006 19:23

sorry - the site is really hard to link to. Go to enfant and look at page one of girls t-shirts - the one by L'heure Anglais, pretty but maybe too fussy for you (velvet ribbons) or go to girls knitwear and look at the Edeis cotton sweater, very plain and v nice IMO in cream.
I adore the pink and beige antik batik sweater on the same page.

H & M? DD1 has one from there, but it is a few years old now. They normally have a good range of colours & are about £2.99.

Beetrootfultoyourself · 08/01/2006 22:35

fancyhat · 08/01/2006 22:38

oooo twiglett - no help but lots of sympathy - these days I've given up but when dd1 was little I spent HOURS looking for plain white tops and other plain things. One time I honestly honestly couldn't find a pair of plain navy leggings - it's unbelievable. And I'm sure no-one believed me...

hornbag · 08/01/2006 22:46

How about sommewhere like Tesco that does the plain, basic long-sleeved T-shirts for next to nothing.
I, too, hate all the words and logos on everything. Girls stuff especially -its all "Mini Floozy", "PopTart" .....well, not quite, but you get my drift.

Beetrootfultoyourself · 09/01/2006 08:58

tescos usually have one in their multi-pack of long sleeved tees - about £8 for 5

hoxtonchick · 10/01/2006 08:27

hennes in oxford st is refurbishing their kids' section. the horror .

Bozza · 12/01/2006 11:56

Depends what you want it for twig? They sell them for 75p in Asda but not sure about the quality.
