Heated rollers

I've mentioned to dh that I'd like some heated rollers for xmas. Can anyone recommend some?

What do you want them for? To make the ends curly or to add lift at the roots? I can't advise about root lift, because I never bother with it, but I have the Babyliss ones for curling at the bottom. They are fine - a good range of roller sizes and plenty of rollers.

I have a graduated bob and my hair is very fine so they are mostly for root lift - although I have only just had my hair cut short and usually have it long so it might be nice to be able to use them for curls once it grows out.

Milly - why would you recommend them - what makes them so good / easy to use etc?

I used to use HR a lot, but have moved towards the babyliss big hair in the last year.

However, if I was to buy a set of HR's, I would go for a travel set like these because the normal sets are very bulky and take a while to heat up. Also I find that just using 10-12 rollers gives a much more natural look.

the babyliss ones are the best, but cheaper on amazon, I got them for £24 and free delivery!

super easy to use, don't tangle or burn either

I brought a Big Hair thinking it would solve all my problems but it didn't and I sold it on Ebay. I think rollers are much better for giving lasting volume.
