Coat for 3 yr old boy

Hi All

My mum has just said she wants to get ds (just 3) a coat for Christmas (must not be more than £50).

I love scandinavian type clothing (especially as you know it will be warm) but don't have much time to trawl websites looking as have just started back at work full time but wanted something for Christmas. I saw a nice pale blue parka on one site but they only had age 10 left!

I don't suppose any of you have recently done the trawl and can recommend any sites / coats? If I can get a funky (but not too funky!) hat to go with it so he doesn't look the same as the other kids in the park / nursery that would be great.

Viking kids have some bright coats under budget & seem in stock. Didriksons seem to have a good reputation on MN for quality.
I think Little Trekkers choice of hats is great & can recommend them for service. The coat are a bit more pedestrian although they do a few Didriksons ones.
Nordic kids unfortunately have few coats but some cute scandi hats. I love the Katvig beanies.
Waterproof world do lots of scandinavian waterproofs but you didn't say if you were looking for a padded coat or not
I have a 3yo boy, he's in a handmedown gap down jacket but if I had the choice I'd get him a Togz Warm&Dry jacket in red as his brother has one & it's fab :) Waterproof world sell them. Probably not quite what you're looking for though!

Thanks so much. He has some Togz but not the warm ones, just waterproof, so this would be a general winter coat.

don't know if it's that different but this lands end one in green or orange is lovely
my ds had one a few yrs ago and it lasted 2 yrs on him and I gave it away in pristine condition , proper down as well ..excellent quality

juicy tots has lovely jackets by molo, my dcshave the castor style ones, they are lightweight but really protective and warm and they look lovely
