I ordered a top from Next yesterday and couldn't find a code, so paid (in a v cross fashion!) £3.99 delivery. I think it might be a bit big though and want to swap it for a smaller size. On their website it says that if you return the whole order, you will have to pay £3.99 again! If I return this one and get another one-will they charge me £3.99 two more times!?

I could return it free in the store, but obviously can't guarantee they'll have the size I want!

It's outrageous-bring back Next codes!!

Also if you order from the directory you now only get 8 days to return it which is a recent change. The assistant in my local store said not to worry, they probably wouldn't enforce that but it's hardly worth the risk.

I don't know much about returns but am currently very pissed off with Next.

I bought a pair of corduroy dungarees for DS (brown 18-24 months) which looked very cute. He wore them once. I put them in the wash. Strap tore off Angry

I email them with a complaint including a photo. One week later no reply Angry send another email. Still no reply Angry

Have now entered a twitter conversation with them in which they have asked for my customer number Confused and tel number so they can ring me.

Sorry for hijack BlushBlush Rant over.

Carry on

I hate ordering from next, I think £3.99 for p&p is just silly.

piellabakewell · 06/12/2011 21:44

Get another one delivered to your local store, that's free. Then you can give them the first one back when you go in to pick it up :)

SantasENormaSnob · 06/12/2011 22:10

I only ever get delivery to the store as I refuse to pay £4 delivery.

I am starting to resent the £3.50 for the book tbh.

Meggles76 · 07/12/2011 07:14

Have told them to stop sending me hard copy of Directory - they send it because they want me to buy from them and then charge me £3.50 !!! I also tend to order to store now.
OP - I did order something the other week and it arrived faulty so ordered another. I rang CS and said I was not prepared to pay postage twice. They said they would credit me the postage on the second one. Give them a ring and they will probably do the same for you
