Recommendations and best place to buy a Clinique gift?

I'm planning on buying some Clinique bits for my friend for Xmas. Is there anywhere good for free gifts at the moment? I'd like to have a nice big box to wrap up for her.

Planning on getting a bottle of laserwear moisturiser thingy and something else? Maybe a mascara? Any recommendations?

you've probably missed out on the pre-christmas bonus times. This website gives you the list of upcoming bonus times.

clinique bonus time

the other thing you can do is ask at the counter if they are doing any offers- often they have lots of leftover samples so will make you up a similar gift; sometimes it is better than the normal bonus time as you get to choose between products. This worked for me in debenhams and in boots, so worth asking.

in terms of mascara- i like the lash doubling. it's much better than the high impact mascara that they always give you in the gifts.

House of Fraser had one when I was in on Thursday. The new lid smoothie eyeshadows are gorgeous, I bought some for my teenage dd's (I'm thinking of borrowing them Grin)

oh, just noticed on that website i linked to that if you spend £50 then they will give you a free gift. just select the offers tab to see it.

Harvey Nics is currently on Bonus Time until 17th December if you are near one.

The All Abouts Eyes moisturiser is lovely and would be a nice treat as a gift but the pot it comes in is tiny, so it doesn't look like much to unwrap. Moisture Surge (to use all over the face) is also brilliant for the winter. Make up wise the chubby sticks for lips and new eye smoothies look good but I haven't tried yet. There is a chubby stick included in the current Bonus Time gift though so I will hopefully get my hands on that.

I bought a nice gift set with Happy perfume and body lotion - v good price at about 20 quid for the 2! A lot of the good gift sets seem to already be sold out everywhere. I was looking for the one with 5 perfumes, the one with chubby sticks, the bag with various lip bits and bobs but no luck...
