Is it worth spending a fair bit on a decent foundation when one doesn't wear make up that often?

And can anyone recommend one that is also easy to use please?

I have the spray Dior one - not keen. The soli Elizabeth Arden one - not easy to use. M&S tube - doesn't last 5 minutes.

I thoroughly recommend Estee Lauder Doublewear - it is fantastic. It goes on easily, absorbs really well and the coverage is amazing. My skin is getting better now, but I had terrible roscea earlier in the year and EL Doublewear was my saviour.

Yes.

I am currently a fan of Clarins- not their skincare but their foundations- they have several types for dry or oily skin.

Clarins has been my fave for years. deffo. a tube is about £22 but can last a year, and that's with me putting at least a little on my eye area every day!

Their light reflecting one, or radiance one is very good.

The Bourjois foundations really are comparable to more expensive ones, and are about ten pounds. Bourjois Healthy Mix.

What sort of skin do you have? No point in recommending a foundation unless we know what skin type you have.

Hi everyone, thanks for the new posts. I was all shopped out so haven't got any foundation yet.

My skin is quite good, a bit dry at times but that could be because I haven't put day/night moisturiser on.

No wrinkles but sometimes I have darker shadows under my eyes when I don't get enough sleep.
