another sheepskin boot question..

I'm trying to decide between fitflops and Emus.

Loved the fitflops when I tried them on except for the non wooly insole...
Loved my friends Emus but when I tried them on they seemed loose (she is a 7 like me)

The fitflops need me to go down a size even brand new. Is this the case for most sheepskin boots? Would I need to go to a 6 in Emus? Are there any other brands I should look at?

No idea about sizing but seemed a total bargain for sheepskin boots, they had loads in my local one.
