Help! I need a stylish, casual, warm coat to wear with skinnies and boots (not a Parka)

Ok. I caught a glimpse of myself in a shop window today wearing my weekend uniform of skinnies, uggs and a parka.

I looked like a fat, old, jaded, dated Meg Matthews.....

Can you help me find an alternative?? (for general weekend shopping/football/park etc)
