Best translucent pressed powder

pls recommend. I have used bobby brown recently but its to powdery if that makes sense.

I seem to remember chanel being good but am bit too mean to spalsh out.

Has anyone tried MAC ?

Advice please!!

rimmel has always been my fave - clinique i found was v powdery

Sisley is good but oh soooo expensive (bought mine at the airport after trying it out in the department stores).

I love MACs blot powder - it's translucent but comes in three 'tones' - the light one is very very light - I'm quite fair but use the medium tone. It's fab, doesn't look chalky or get cakey if you reapply.

I have some Chanel pressed powder and the outer casing fell apart within a few weeks. Not what I expected for £30!

Chantecaille is amazing. Have been using it every day for at least the last 6 years. It lasts ages so I only need to replace it every couple of years! Comes in a nice silver compact.
