Summer wedding outfit for 10 year old boy?

My brother is getting married abroad in March and I'm trying to decide between shorts or a pair of trousers for DS (10).

I've always put him in linen shirts and beige shorts for anything "formal-ish" we've had to attend but am now wondering if at 10, he would look too overgrown for shorts?

So, shorts or trousers for a 10 year old? Top is likely to be a light mandarin collared shirt.

Thanks

I think trousers.

Try this linen suit from John Lewis. That link takes you to various ones on EBay, but it's almostalways in stock in the shops and on line too.

Thank-you - will look for trousers then.

Three piece suit might be a bit too warm - wedding is in the tropics!

Someone told me on here of a company called Little Linens which have fabulous clothes and lots on sale at the moment.
