has anyone used Laura mercier secret camouflage concealer? I have melasma and wondered whether it would be any good at concealing it.

It gives pretty good coverage. There are two formulations, the double shade one is very thick and a lot of people don't get on with it, but it may suit your needs with there being two colours. You may need to mix it with a bit of moisturiser to make it easier to blend. The creamier one in the round pot is a little easier to apply. It's better to try it in store though anyway, ideally getting someone to help you find the right colour. With Melasma it's not a simple case of getting something that matches your skintone. Often if you use a yellow based shade it will make the melasma look greyish. You need to neutralise it and then blend it in so may need to start with something more peachy.

You don't want to go to heavy though if it's a larger area so you might find a highly pigmented liquid concealer works well. I like MAC's ProLongwear concealers, or Estee Lauder Doublewear concealer.
