Smart outfit for 8 year old ds - ideas?

I'm looking for an outfit for him to wear for his concert, Christmas day, visit to relatives etc.

He's quite a sturdy lad and is in age 10-11 years.
I don't like anything I've seen in Next, Gap or H+M.

Have you tried Zara - they have some lovely clothes for boys. How about beige chinos from Gap, a smart shirt and then navy or nice jumper from Zara?

little linens does really lovely smart but not too formal/stuffy clothes for boys, and very good quality, the linen is so soft...

I find that cream chinos and a navy blue linen or linen-type jacket smartens them up no end without looking overdone. M&S usually have something along those lines.
