You need to use your imagination!!

Going to a black-tie party tonight - theme black with a wicked touch of pink.

Bought a knee length "dress" in Monsoon (70% off!!) which is black chiffon with embroidery. It's a bit see-through and the assistant said it was designed to be worn with trousers. I have pair of black vlevet palazzo pants - yes or no?? By the way I am a size 20!!

Thanks NDP! There is pink in the embroidery and I have pink earrings and a pink bracelet. Also a pink scarf but that might be OTT!

Thanks - think I till wear the scarf as the top of the dress is a bit bare for me!

Now - another question. The party is a joint 40th and 50th - I know the girl who is 40 but not the one who is 50. What do I do about presents? One each? Or just one for the girl I know? A token for the other one?

It was a joint invite from the DH's but I was on list of the girl I know.
