Anyone tried flipflop boots?

I don't possess any sheepskin boots .. firstly because everyone else has them, but also because I can't walk in anything that has no foot support inside. However I would like warm feet and today I tried some sheepskin flipflop boots on and they were very comfy.

They are also a lot more expensive that I would usually consider, so wondered..ARE they comfy or do they start to sag (they also claim to tone up your legs..a bonus but not essential) and is their sizing true ..I'm usually a 6.5 or 7.
Thanks!

Do you mean fitflop? If so, I have them and love them. Worn all last winter & this autumn, no sagging or anything. Really comfy, waterproof and warm. I would never usually spend that amount on boots but it was worth it!

I desperately want some too but they are way more than my usual budget. I live in Fitflops when the weather allows so I'm assuming these would be equally comfortable.

What about the pretenders? Sketchers Tone Ups etc?

I have the mukluks and the grey suede ones. Wear them all winter, very hardwearing.

Wait til Jan/feb and you'll get them for 60 quid like I did on amazon.

Hi Medusa. I had a pair of the Fitflop boots last year. In fact I still have them and have used them this Winter too.
They don't have the exact ones I have this year, but these are very similar.
I found them very comfortable, perfect for everyday wear,shops,park...whatever. I wore them with ski socks for extra warmth. They were fine in wet weather too, although the ones I had were wider at the ankle.
Mine were suede, they sagged a little at the top,but only a little. I would say go for it!

I am a 6.5 - 7 also. I went for the 6 actually,as they came up very large. And I never have to size down,so I think they really do come up big. The 6 was perfect-even with the ski socks!

I'm not keen on them. Don't find them that comfortable and they're just so ugly. I thought they would be perfect for the walk to work (and then I could change into something more stylish on arrival but I really hate the look of them that much that I can't bring myself to put them on. I've only worn them a few times and I may stick them on Ebay and try to recoup some of my loss.

Have had a few pairs and they are wonderful - wear them without socks. If you know anyone who is going to the States or coming from there, they are staggeringly cheap on Amazon if you don't mind last year's style - got mine for $60 instead of £200

ISawPINOTSnoggingSantaClaus · 01/12/2011 19:41

Same here, love them & worth the £. I have mukluks and superboots and both great quality.

doglover · 01/12/2011 20:07

I have 2 pairs of short superboots and 2 pairs of knee length superboots. As you can imagine, I love them!! SOOOOOOOO comfortable.

Rexy · 01/12/2011 22:39

MedusaIsHavingABadHairDay · 01/12/2011 22:39

Running Bare do some really good offers on Fitflops, it might be worth joining their email list. I bought some Fitflop trainers on there recently and saved £50!

Ohforfoxsake · 01/12/2011 23:09

Try Soletrader, but wait til after Xmas when they might be half price.

Also, Boots were selling Fitflop Sandals half-price a couple of weeks ago.

Mine are a 6 and I'm a 6.5/7.

Yes, Running Bare, Cloggs and others have some good offers now so have a look round on the internet.

Like others, I've found them really comfortable and wore them all through last winter.
