Can anyone tell me whether the Outnet is a good website?
Is it worth the time to look regularly and what is the returns policy?
Ta.

The Outnet is the outlet arm of Net-a-Porter and sells stuff which hasn't been sold in the main net-a-porter sale, as well as items that it obviously buys in. So, you can occasionally get a really good bargain, but you can also get lots of stuff that's just a bit meh - having not really been sellable at full price. The service is very good - courier delivery and pick up, but you only get 5 days to return something. Register for email updates and flash sales and you'll see that the best bargains go VERY FAST.

The site totally crashed last year when they had a big drop of Louboutins. The email came out at 10.00am - I couldn't get on the site until about 4.00pm (because it was bombed flat) when the only ones left were size 8 or 6" heels.

Ah thanks for that.

I really like the site - if you keep looking there are some real bargains to be had. I didn't realise you only 5 days to return, that's good to know!

Its actually 14 days to return stuff - you just request a RMA same as on NAP and book the dhl courier to come and collect.

I've had some very good buys from the outnet - a Temperley dress for £1! Also good for jeans.

I think it helps if you know what designers you like and focus on them, so I got a lovely equipment shirt this week for £75 which should have been well over £200.
