Jeans/trousers suggestions for an overweight woman with a waist

I'm currently wearing size 16, but losing weight and looking to move down to 14 soon, so will be buying some clothes. The trouble is, most jeans and trousers around seem to be for women who are apple shaped and put on weight around the waist. I put on weight on my thighs, hips and bum. I am pear shaped, I would be hourglass shaped if I had anything up top.

I would love to find a style which doesn't mean I have to wear belts all the time. My size 16 jeans and trousers fit ok around my thighs but are so baggy around the waist that I can pull them up and down without undoing them! I want to make the most of the new slimmer me, any ideas?

Wallis kick flares are good for me.

South jeans are good, i like their highwaisted bootcut jeans. Though bigger than you, i am a pear too. I think you can get them in the Very catalogue.

They get a bad press on here but NYDJ (Not Your Daughter's Jeans) are brilliant for this - they are on offer via Amazon at the moment I think

Levi's Bold Curve.

Oasis jeans are fab for curvy girls - they're the only ones I've found that fit my small waist and sizeable bum.
