DS potty trained, so now his trousers are falling down!

DS is 2.2 and (rather surprisingly) potty trained. Now that he's not in nappies, it turns out he has tiny wee hips and bottom, and his trousers, which fitted fine over nappies, keep falling down. I have a few with adjustable waists, but not many, and I don't want to buy a whole new load of trousers. Is there such a thing as braces for wee ones? Should I go the whole hog and buy him a flat cap?

i have the same problem with DS 4 (although he's been out of nappies a while now!). Every pair of trousers falls right off him and adjustable waists need to be pulled really far in which makes them look a bit strange at the waistline. I've been looking for easy to use belts but no success yet!

I spotted child braces in H&M the other day, they were ?4.95 (am in Netherlands) but I'm sure they'll be in UK stores too.

Oh, lord - so this could go on for a while? DS seems to have v classic male triangle shape, but he's quite little compared to how his sister was anyway.

Snake belts are pretty easy. And I think Jojo do a very easy clip- type belt. Snake belts from next and loads of other places I'm sure!

Thank you. I'm thinking belts might be better than braces in winter, so that's good.
