My boots own dryer has just died a sudden death and wondered what I should replace it with? Does a good quality dryer really make your hair look and feel better ?

Yes ime it does make a massive difference. I use a Toni and Guy one and haven't found one that's better tbh.

hifi · 30/11/2011 16:37

yes it does,i was having a 20.00 blow dry every week until i bought my parlux compact 3500,was 70.00 but its paid for itself in a month.

ChinaInYourHands · 30/11/2011 16:42

It makes ALL the difference. Another fan of Parlux here.

valiumredhead · 30/11/2011 16:42

Tell me about Parlux - I keep hearing good things about that make. what makes it so special?

JosieRosie · 30/11/2011 16:42

Are Parlux good for curly hair too i.e. great big diffusers?

Bellavita · 30/11/2011 16:45

Oooh I asked DH for a hair dryer for Xmas (he was like Hmm a hairdryer... really?)

Where do you buy this make from?

I have one that cost me about £25 and it keeps overheating.

fantasticfanjo · 30/11/2011 16:50

I've asked santa for the parlux compact ceramic ionic dryer - but its about £70ish - are they really worth it ?

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 30/11/2011 16:59

I have a nikki clarke one that was about £35 and it is really fantastic, and I have troublesome hair! Much better than the v.cheap one I had previously.

www.parluxhairdryers.co.uk/products/98/Parlux-3000-Hair-Dryer.htm

This one is only about a tenner more than I usually pay for a hair drier - I am tempted!

hifi · 30/11/2011 17:11

it the hairdressers hairdryer. mine told me to use the longer nozzle at the end, better distribution of heat.

valiumredhead · 30/11/2011 17:55

Yes that's what I found with Toni and Guy driers - good nozzles!

Chicinwellies · 01/12/2011 18:57

Ooh thanks !

Parlux fan here. I bought the £50 one, it's light, dries hair quickly and leaves it amazingly smooth. I'm a total convert.

Bellavita · 01/12/2011 21:25

I have sent DH a link to the hairdryers. I have asked him to get me one for xmas. Boring I know...
