Purple evening top with balloon sleeves

I bought a purple velvet pencil skirt from Boden yesterday and now I'm looking for a top to go with it. Ideally black or purple, nice low scoop neck to minimise my big norks, balloon sleeves perhaps. Fitted shape, ending below waist/ top of hip bone? Budget, around £50? Thanks for any help.

Well I went all round the shops in Guildford today, couldn't find any tops with scoop necks, just lots of pussy bows (not for me). Anyone got any suggestions for an evening top for a size 16 hourglass to go with a dark purple velvet skirt? Please?

Have a look at House of Fraser - they have a sale on and loads of tops. I've given up browsing as its v v slow on my laptop. Would be interested myself if anyone knows of any.

Thankyou TracyK and SirToffee for your replies. I did look at the first Coast top yesterday, I thought it looked a bit too 'blouson' in style. I should have tried it on to rule it out though, looking back.

The River Island would be perfect if it was a top (although those sleeves might drape in my dinner, they look quite glam). I wonder if I could doctor it a bit and chop the bottom off. I haven't bought anything from River Island before though, do their sizes come up small?

The last time I bought stuff from RI - It was kind of generous sizing - but not massively.

My friend has this top in a dusky blue and is really nice.

Thanks for some more suggestions. The mint velvet neckline is too high, as is the phase eight and too much material in general for me (imagine Nigella in it pre weight loss, to give you general idea!)
