Best night cream?

Just about to finish by beloved Clarins one, but before I replace, are there any out there that are as good as or better? (or even, heaven forbid, cheaper?!) And yes, yes I know people say you don't need one, but I just like them.

It would feel all wrong putting normal moisturiser on at night. Grin

That website is an eye opener!

I love Clinique but cant afford it anymore Ive just bought Loreal Revitalift night cream-anti wrinkle and firming. only used it first last night so cant really say if its any good, my skin feels ok this morning though.

I had an Avon one a few years ago that was nice but they discontinued it or renamed it, Ive found their night creams to be quite good.

I had a Lancome one about 5-6 years ago that was really good..cant remember which one it was though.

I tried Avacado oil but I came out in lots of little whitehead things by the next morning so I dont think its good for me!

Bucharest I agree that the Arden 8 hour cream is basically vaseline with a 'creme' type scent added to make it less vaseline-like. But I've used the Arden stuff the odd night (it's pretty slick so you don't want to lie on nice satin pillowcases or whatever) and my skin feels ultra soft the next day.

I'm more interested in the creams that address the wrinkle situation over time... any suggestions?

Guerlain Midnight recovery cream for nights out. Origins mask that you slap on overnight (in the green tube). Clarins night cream in the blue jar or Estee Lauder Night repair serum. I use a combination of these 4 depending on how sleep deprived I am. Plus I whack a bit of Lancome fake tan on to look a bit perkier!
