I have got long darkish blonde hair. In summer it's a nice colour but during the wintern it goes really really dull.

I was thinking of having something done with it at the hairdressers but the thought of re-growth i.e keep going back has putg me off. that and the fact that it might dry my hair up.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what i could use to make it a nicer colour?

think i have been reading to many celeb magazines, it's set me on the road to self improvement lol

Does a blonding type shampoo make any difference?

I love Sharon Osborne's hair, particularly the colour, large sections of colour, think it's coffee tones.

Ask them to put highlites in under your hairline, I had them and they lasted a good 6 months and still looked fine. Didn't dry my hair up either.

Most hairdressers do them...
