Anyone got uggs and celtic sheepskin?

Both seem the same. Go one size or half a size down from your regular size. Celt seems to do exchanges if you get it wrong on first try.

I love both - Uggs are prettier (if ugg boots can look pretty) but Celts feel better made. I also loved Celt's customer service.

I have Celtics, ordered normal size, they seemed tight but have stretched to fit nicely.

I've got Celtics. They felt snug at first until the fluff had compressed a bit inside, then were perfect.

I quite like the biker boots and ugg equivalent are £260 odd. I have 3 pairs of uggs one of which is 4 years old and going strong . Do you think Celtic are as good? I think my uggs are uk 4.5 so should I get uk 5?

Celtic sheepskin boots are very good quality. Mine are just heading into their 3rd winter, one pair is worn on and offj all year ground when camping and still look great.

Size wise, go for normal shoe size. Should feel snug at first as the sheepskin will settle.

I agree, I just went for normal size with my Celtic Sheepskin and was fine. I love them, hardly ever wear socks now!

Hmm I seem to be disagreeing with everyone today! I have Celt boots and I am normally size 5 and thats what I ordered, they fit fine, pretty snug at first though! However mine have worn down inside so much they are practically through to the inner sole bit, very hard and uncomfy. Only had them a year...

Ah maybe it's worth the extra £100 to get ugg version. Although I do prefer the Celtic ones not just because they are cheaper. ( dh paying anyways :)

I have Celtic Sheepskins and I size up (I'm 6.5 and choose a 7) - I think the sheepskin is quite forgiving so it probably doesn't matter that much whether you size up or down. Maybe if you tend to wear thick socks, size up; if no/thin socks, size down! Can recommend everything about CS and the customer service is very good and friendly, so contact them if you're still not sure.

I've ordered both recently. CS ones seem to be better quality (thicker soles and generally more robust looking) but have ended up keeping the Uggs as they look better overall (and I am shallow). I ordered the regular height CS classic boots and they looked a bit clompy and oversized on my slim calves (I'm also only 5ft tall).

Also meant to say, I ordered my usual size in both and they were fine.

I love CS though have only gazed wistfully at their brochure - haven't bought anything yet .

Does anyone know if they have a New Year sale thats worth holding out for?

You can get sheepskin insoles for CS boots Pample - maybe if you rang and said how dissppointed you are with the inside sole wear they would post you some??

Love my Celts, have two pairs at the moment. My first pair only retired because the dog ate them!

One of the best things is you can get them resoled relatively cheaply by them, and have replacement panels as and when required. My black classic pair are older than ds1
