Celtic Sheepskin Ugg Boots

Hi

Has anyone ordered from this company? Are they good quality?

My Mum wants to give my DS' a replacement pair of Ugg boots (last pairs I bought in Oz on a trip home but way too expensive to get again, since their feet grow so quickly) for Christmas.

Not too worried about being "Ugg" brand as they are only going to be worn inside the house.

Thanks

They are very good quality.

I have 2 pairs that are on their 3rd winter and still going strong.

Tbh I prefer them to genuine uggs, not sure why, I just do.

Thanks for your comments Doyouthinktheyareus.

That is very reassuring, I am going to order a couple of pairs then!

Genuine Uggs are soo expensive for kids, especially when their feet grow so quickly. Also I still can't get used to seeing them worn outside, in some parts of Oz they are considered slippers, mind you they have come on leaps and bounds in terms of materials etc they are made from now. Smile

I have had 3 pairs, both DSs wear them, they are great. The prices of the children's ones have shot up, which is annoying. That said, DS 2 is wearing hand me downs as they have lasted so well. I cut costs a bit by going into the factory shop (not far from me) and getting seconds or samples.

I prefer them to UGGs too.

I've ordered from this company before and everything was very good quality. I haven't tried the boots, but am tempted - they have some lovely colours! I've got some Ugg-style sheepskin boots by a company called Animal (got them from John Lewis but haven't seen them since) - they are super cosy, very soft sheepskin and a nicer colour than Uggs and only cost £70. Still rather expensive for slippers Grin

I've got some Celtic Sheepskin slippers, the bootee style ones, and they are awesome. Really, really good quality. I normally knacker slippers within weeks but these are in their second winter and still going strong. They are even still fluffy inside!

I have both Celts (their nearly white houseboots) and genuine Uggs. Celts feel more authentic - the sheepskin is fantastic and are better made IMO. Uggs look more stylish and are softer inside. So I wear Celts indoors and Uggs outdoors.

I live in Italy and wouldn't even think of spending the chilly winter here without my lovely Celt boots.

Animal is a low price surf wear company, you can find their stuff on the internet quite easily usually.

Thanks BerryLellow, I looked for Animal boots on the internet when I wanted some new ones but they all seem to have the Animal logo on the trimming round the top of the boot, which is really ugly. I think they must have changed their style since I bought mine from JL.

Hi

Thanks to all for your comments.

Celtic boots arrived yesterday and they are fab. I think they are much more sturdier made than the Ugg "original" ones my DS1 has.

Very happy with my purchase!
