Black pencil skirt, please help!

I've been looking for one for ages but nothing seems quite right. Must be below the knee and reasonably tight, probably prefer a waistband but if it sat well without, not essential. Thought
This one looked ok but material not thick enough and probably not tight enough either.

Want something that would last for years so would consider spending up to £150 for the right skirt. Any ideas?

I got this one recently. Much cheaper than your budget, but surprisingly thick fabric that hangs well/clings in all the right places.

Otherwise, Hobbs used to be good for posh basics (although I've had very poor quality woollen trousers from there in more recent years...)

Any advice on IO/Asos sizes? I live near a FC so so will try in store. Sizes everywhere seem to have gone bonkers - when I was at school I was usually a 12 and I am still in some places but was drowned by a so-call size 8 (US 4) in Gap the other day which is just ridiculous.

ASOS sizes tend to be reasonably normal (although they sell lots of other brands as well as their own, which means they can vary!) they have a great returns policy though so I would order in two sizes and send one back.
