I was going to buy these but they are now gone Sad

I liked the lace up bit, the fur, the fact they were completely waterproof, the warmth and the price - just £50!

As I have missed out on these, can anyone find me something better similar?!

Sorry you missed out on them (I have the M&S ones so won't bang on about how great they are)

The only ones I have seen which are similar in style are Timberland ones but they are over 100 pounds on ASOS/ebay or in Office. Sure they would be great quality tho and last and last?
Sure someone else will be along soon with some better suggestions.....

I have seen similar in the window of Clarks.

And I saw some branded ones in an independent retailer yesterday. Can't remember the brand although I think it might have sounded Swiss. probably doesn't help. I'll let you know if I pass by tomorrow. I remember they were £130 if that diminishes your interest any?!

Try these from Hi Tec

or

these from Keen - more expensive, though. The Hi tec are nice, and if you hunt around you should find a good price.

I have North Face Abby which were brilliant up Cairngorm and in all the snow we had here in Scotland last year, but they do cost more.

AuntieDoris · 27/11/2011 22:51

Try these.

I bought some similar last year and worse them all the time!

TarquinGyrfalcon · 27/11/2011 23:03

Are these any good? If you go to the home page there is a code giving 20% off as well

MrsHollyandtheIvy · 28/11/2011 10:39

Lots of good ones, there. I prefer the ones that look like normal boots, IYKWIM. I guess I'm going to have spend more money than I'd hoped though, if I want half decent ones!

Thanks for all suggestions.

Bumping this thread. Any other ideas? Those M&S ones a bargain....

Rexy · 28/11/2011 23:04

Try Mountain Wearhouse got mine from there

thesmallestpotato · 29/11/2011 10:54

habbibu, I've got my eye on the North Face Abby boots, what are they like as general winter boots for walking round town, the park etc on your average autumn/winter day? How do they look with jeans?

supermama212 · 29/11/2011 15:58

Cotton traders - £25 for fur lined boots and £25 for the same but quilted and waterproof - In snow they are amazing!

habbibu · 29/11/2011 21:16

potato, I love them. They are incredibly comfortable - soft and cosy inside, but super waterproof and insulated, so my feet are never cold. Nice with skinny jeans tucked in, and I wear them with skirts and leggings. Have had loads of compliments about them.

thesmallestpotato · 30/11/2011 12:13

Thanks habbibu :) Just been to our local outdoor shop but they don't stock them so I'm going to order on-line

Which colour do you have? I like the sand-coloured ones with the white fur but I'm wondering if the dark brown ones, or even the black ones might be more versatile?

habbibu · 30/11/2011 15:16

sand coloured - I love them, and waer them with everything, but yes, the others might blend in better. I got mine from purekit, who were very good.

mippy · 30/11/2011 22:43

I have some Hush Puppies boots - Yasmine I think the style is - that are near identical in style, but have suede bits on. So not waterproof :(
