If you had Botox in one area did you..

go on to have it in multiple areas?

I am sooo tempted to try out Botox to erase the frown line ( eleven's I think they are called in Botox land) and can sort of justify that to myself as it may stop people from thinking I am cross/ pissed off a lot. I am however concerned about the legendary "slippery slope" that you hear thrown out whenever Botox is mentioned. I am 38 so plenty of years ahead to try other things. So for all you ladies who have tried Botox a) would you recommend it b) did it lead to more botox/ fillers etc.

Yes - I got my 11's/eyelid lift done 1st time around and then 2nd time got them and crows feet done.

I don't know I'd get anywhere else done though (not sure there is anywhere left). Still not tempted by fillers though.

The botox will not only take away the line - but prevent it from getting any worse. She didn't do down too far on my crows feet - so still movement at the bottom of my eyes down iykwim. It has just stopped the wrinkles going all the way round under my brows - which they had started doing. And not frozen looking.

Definitely recommend it, although you're a bit young, Imo. I'm 52, so definitely onm the slippery slope! I've had 2 doses in my forehead and crows' feet. You can't move your forehead, so as Tracy points out, it prevents wrinkles as well as cures them. Incidentally, if you have really bad 11's, you may need filler as well. I looked like Dr Spock after my first go, so make sure you shop around for a decent practitioner. Good luck.

I've had it twice now and it has made a massive difference. I didn't have 11 lines but had three deep lines acrss my forehead. They go completely with the botox and the before and after pictures are amazing! I am the same age as you - go for it, it wears off if you don't like it

I'd defo go for it in your late 30's. More of a preventative measure than anything else. You can probably go in light for the first 10 years though. Usually need it every 4 months - but if I'd been doing it my 30's - I'd go for it every 6 or 7 months only.
My friend had really deep 11's - but the same nurse did her and left her with not very deep lines - but slight movement so as not to freeze her. So you can still sort of see her lines - but 100 times better than without. I don't think you'd need fillers - you can do without it being totally smooth??
