No make up look - where to start?

Not sure how I got to my late 30s without being able to do make up but am beginning to realise that a bit more than my usual tinted moisturiser and lick of mascara would help me look a bit less tired and haggard as nearly 4 years of sleep deprivation are taking their toll.

Am greatly inspired by Lisa Eldridge's no make up look but not sure where to start and always feel a bit scared of the women on the counters

My budget is pretty rock bottom and I would really just like some advice on how to apply the basics without feeling obliged to buy loads of expensive products.
I need some real life instruction, because amazing as Lisa is I can't seem to recreate her look by the power of you tube alone.

Recommendations for non scary make up counters would be greatly appreciated (am in North west)

TIA

Mac are always good as they are trained make up artists
What colouring are you?
I do a v light make up look with my everyday v sheer foundation, under eye concealer dab of blush. Then on my eyes I use a light skin shade up to my brow, and a sort of taupe either on the lid or in the crease, with a dark brown as liner
Sometimes the no make up look takes more effort Grin
I think under eye concealer is essential, if you can get lovely looking skin and a touch of blush, everything else looks so much better
