It's a Phase 8 no. I got in a sale a few years ago.
I agree re Caramac but suede is too similar to velvet I feel.
Need a different texture.

I've got plain hign black courts, nude ones and purple ones but none go.

But I see your thinking with maybe plum or maroon or burgundy.
