Skin gone awful since stopping breastfeeding - will it last..?

I stopped breastfeeding my 15mo dd about 10 days ago and in the last few days my skin has gone horrible and dry/blotchy/spotty. I look like I've aged about 10 years. I guess it's all the hormone levels going a bit nuts...
Has anyone else experienced this? And more importantly, does it last...?

Took a couple of months for mine to settle itself down and return to normal. I also found that using the oil cleansing method (see various threads on S & B) has really helped to re-balance my skin. Oh, and buying a nice mineral powder foundation, as it is gentle on my skin, but helps to give it a glow.
