I have bought my mother a nice leather bag for Christmas and would like to get one of those 'bag protector bags' to put it in. Can anyone advise where I can buy one from or what their proper name is so I can posh it up.

Lots to trawl through on the "not on the high street" webshop - dustbag/drawstring bag... could call it a handbag hamper? (or not)
