Not sure if this is the right area to post this Hmm . DM is buying DD a polar fleece all in one for chrimbo. Not sure which size to get. She will be 10 months at christmas but isn't massive. Does anyone know if they come up big or not? I'm not sure if it's best to get a 6-12 months or if we can get away with a 1 - 2 yrs so we can use it next winter (obv no good if it swamps her this year)

Found them smaller rather than big for size. And I've had several of them! Because it's v soft fleece, rolling the sleeves and legs up isn't a problem. I think jojo do free delivery and returns besides. There's probably a 15% code around too. HTH.

So maybe I should try the 1 - 2 then Hmm . I'm sure I heard somewhere they come up big but could have made that up which is why I ask

Buy both, send one back? I found they were ok in the legs & sleeves, but short in the body on both my twins (b/g). Hadn't heard others thought they were big, I think they were a few years ago but not the current make.

I've just bought one for my DS who is 13 months and have bought aged 1-2. It fits him perfectly and has plenty of growing room - and he's big for his age! 26lb at last weigh in! I definately think they are sized bigger rather than smaller. The matching hat however is very small fitting and he's ended up with age 3-5. HTH.

sleepy we have the hat and I found that small too - DD is in 1-2 and that's a snug fit I thought she must just have a big head . I would order both but I think you have to pay for returns Hmm . I can roll up arms and legs, it's just the body being the wrong size I guess Hmm . DD is only 17/18 lbs, so maybe too small

forgive me if I'm stating the obvious but sleepymare, wouldn't you expect it to be big on your 13mo as it's sized 1-2? He's right at the start of the age range.
Reastie, the reviews on JoJo's site might help you? I would add that I've found everything else from there to be huuge although for some reason the hats & mittens are ridiculously small so I didn't bother buying them for my just 3yo dts in 3-5yrs. I have a 2-3 top for dd that she won't fit until she's 4 and the dresses are massive! I can't remember paying returns postage to JoJo before & I've returned plenty but you could always check with them.
They're lovely, and you're lucky to having your DM buy one for dd, by the time I discovered them I had the dts and had to buy them off ebay each time. Only wish they went up to 3-4 (sob).

I agree with accessorizequeen in that I usually find Jojo stuff absolutely massive...

PoppadumPreach · 26/11/2011 20:11

Just throwing some food for thought, I found jojo stuff not particularly good quality. The absolute best baby fleeces we found we from Polarn o Pyret. They now sell online as they don't have too many shops. Their stuff is not cheap but quality is superb and resale value is great on eBay. Their sizes are def on big side.

Just a thought....!

thanks pop but we have the hat and gloves from jojo so may as well get the suit to match Blush . Well, I have conflicting reports as to too big or too small, might have to look into the returns policy Hmm acessorize excellent idea re: online reviews, will check that out now Grin
