Does anyone ever visit the Les senteurs perfume shops in London? I am looking for a perfume and don't like anything on offer in the usual shops; I don't live near an independant specialist place.

Anyway- the Les senteurs shop has given me a list of perfumes I may like (smokey/woddy/vetivery) and they sound wonderful. BUT the catch is that they charge £5 for each sample they send which is a bit much considering I might think they smell like pigs bums. However they don't charge for samples given at their shops and so wondering if anyone would be so kind as to collect the ones they advised and stick 'em in a jiffy bag and post them to me?? I would forward the jiffy bag first and a book of stamps?

Grovelly thanks

Bumping for you Wink I'm in deepest wilts so no help here sorry

cookingfat · 27/11/2011 15:40

In the countryside too. Couldn't you phone and ask them to send them as you can't pop in - seems v unfair.

ToothlessFairy · 27/11/2011 15:51

Bumping for you, but not able to help.

Taranta · 27/11/2011 15:52

Will be going past there but not till week after next - probably too late but if you get no sooner offers I'd be happy to pop in. You should try Le Labo 'Vetiver' as a scent by the way - Here - smells like incense and old churches, but in er, a good way...hideously spenny though...

ToothlessFairy · 27/11/2011 15:53

Just a thought, if you link to facebook or similar, you may find someone that way?

NormaSparklerFlashBangAhhh · 27/11/2011 15:56

I work in London and would be happy to do this if there any in reasonable distance. Where are the shops?

Thank you Taranta- I don't need them urgently but would very much appreciate it if you could nab the samples I'm after. If you can get there I'll pm you the ones recommended. Perfume you mention sounds just up my street- spray it in my direction please :)

Of course, will be going past the Victoria branch this Sat coming in fact, so do PM me the ones you are after. Smile

jumpinghoops · 28/11/2011 13:38

I have an opticians appt not a million miles away from the Marylebone branch on Weds eve and could pop by then if that helps- PM me if you'd like me to go for you. I have ordered samples from them before and they were smashed in the post by the time I received them so whoever gets them needs to bubble wrap well for you

Pudden · 28/11/2011 15:15

thank you jumpinghoops but Taranta is doing the deed for me. Will make sure I send her some bubble wrap as well.

Hurray hurrayyyy
