Please can anyone help me.

I bought this dress Dress a month ago. I have worn it once for an evening casual event.

But I really like it and would love to be able to wear it for normal daytime wear. The problem is I'm not sure how or what to wear with it.
I am a normal SAHM so do nothing exciting during the day.

Thank you.

That link won't work for me, for some reason :(

whyme2 · 25/11/2011 10:59

Sorry - I have just tried it and it worked for me. And that is the limit of my knowledge regarding links Blush

Id wear with with leggings and knee high flat boots, maybe put a contrasting long sleeve t shirt under it for warmth?

pictish · 25/11/2011 11:17

Leggings and biker boots all the way!

ujjayi · 25/11/2011 12:11

Agree with leggings, boots (ankle with a heel, mid calf or knee high both flat) long sleeve tee beneath for warmth and I would probably add a scarf - but then I am never knowingly without one about my person :). Lovely dress, btw.

You could also layer over skinny jeans but not over straight or bootcut.

CeliaFate · 25/11/2011 12:31

I'd wear it with a long sleeved, polo neck top underneath, opaque tights and knee high boots. Add a brightly coloured, plain scarf. Lovely dress!

SilkStalkings · 25/11/2011 16:10

I'm not a fan of longsleeves under short, too Lynette-Scavo-doing-the-laundry for my liking. I would wear it with a longsleeved black shrug which would draw attention to your waist too. But yep, leggings or skinny jeans and big boots.

Blakey35 · 25/11/2011 16:38

leggings or tights, long cardigan and biker or knee high boots

KittieCat · 25/11/2011 16:42

Definitely what Pictish said

Thank you for all your help ladies. I definitely feel more confident now.

I only have brown knee high boots - is brown okay do you think?

If so I shall be wearing tomorrow with my long cardigan which is a purple colour so should hopefully team nicely.

Brown boots are perfect - better than black.
