Tall people - question about Top Shop Tall and Long Tall Sally.

Quick Q for anyone familiar with Top Shop Tall - is all the clothing totally reproportioned and recut for (say) a 6ft model, or is it just standard clothing that has been made a bit longer? All the stuff in Long Tall Sally is supposed to be cut to fit 6ft +/- a few inches and it really fits me well but is sooooo expensive. Any input gratefully received!

I think it's standard clothing just a bit longer. I'm 5,10 and the tall in Topshop actually comes up too long sometimes! It's less roomy than LTS but not ill fitting/only for a model. Zara is fab for tall people.

I've got some tall jeans from Topshop and find that they are longer in the body than some of my other jeans and more comfy.

Dorothy Perkins tall section is good too and their jeans seem very long.

Next have a great Tall range also - though the trousers are even too long for me and I am 6'. Next extra long trousers are 35" long and fit me better than their tall range. Next is more reasonably priced than LTS also.

I can't shop in LTS because it's too big for me - that said, I did just buy an amazing blazer online from them and FOR ONCE the arms FIT ME! I did have to downsize though

I totally agree that Zara (and Mango) are the two shops I can walk into and KNOW it will fit me - result!

I used to love topshop tall, but now feel I'm too old for it (40), but it always fitted well.

Don't like LTS so a bit stuck now.

Zara can be a winner and cut well for tall people (not taller than 6ft though, I'd say)

Thanks everyone. I am actually 6ft exactly so I do find the LTS cut absolutely perfect. With trousers, it's not just the length of the leg, it's the rise which I really struggle with so that's why I am wary of shops which have just made legs longer etc, rather than a total recut.

I am worried that I am also too old for Topshop tall!
