Does this look like a hand bag or a changing bag?

This . It's just come today and I really like it - just the right size for my needs and lovely pattern. The material, however, is the same as dds changing bag (like an oil cloth type material).

Do you think people will think I have a baby changing bag as a hang bag or am I thinking too much into this?

Those oilcloth handbags are very much in vogue atm. I like them. The fact is, it does look a bit like a changing bag, but so what? Why is that bad?

Who cares what other people think?

notso · 24/11/2011 15:10

I've got that but from last year in the pop spot fabric as my changing bag, so yes it does to me. However oilcloth satchels are fashionable now even MIL has one.

notso · 24/11/2011 15:11

I actually like that fabric better than mine and it's reduced...shall I?

reastie · 24/11/2011 15:15

notso do it, DO IT. I got mine with a 25% off voucher code I found on the voucher code talk bit here, so really, it was so cheap it was a shame not to Wink .

Wow, can't believe for once I'm fashionable without even knowing it Wink . I like the fact it's wipe clean - v good with such a messy owner Grin

Changing bag. And I need a new one

DonaAna · 25/11/2011 20:19

Changing bag, "fun" pattern. But I actually sometimes use a changing bag for work too (purple leather Storksak) and I don't care what others think.

reastie · 26/11/2011 18:10

Well, I've taken it for it's first airing today. No Hmm looks yet...

What's wrong with changing bags? I still use mine 4 years later, because it is so practical and I like the look of it. DH is very rude about the weight of it though, since it is astonishing how much stuff I can cram in.

spartafc · 26/11/2011 21:35

I have that, in last year's colours. It is very roomy and someone did once refer to it as being DS's bag. But no one else has ever mentioned it being like a changing bag. There is/was a changing bag in Boots that is oilcloth and spotty but it seemed to be more obviously a change bag. Anyway, I love mine and don't mind if it does look a bit changing bagish.
